The 5th World Congress of Biosphere Reserveskicked off on September 22, andwill continue untilSeptember 25.This is the first time for Asia to hold theonce-in-a-decadeevent, and is also a grand event with the widest participation of UNESCO member states. Nearly 4,000 representatives from more than 150 countries and regions all over the world gather in Hangzhou to jointly discuss the topic of "shaping a sustainable future for human beings and nature".
