The annual China International West Lake Wuliangye Rose Wedding Ceremony was held at the West Lake in Hangzhou on October 7. Hundreds of newlyweds from China, Italy, France, Russia, Germany, Brazil, Iran, Congo, Cameroon, Morocco and other countries wore Chinese-style wedding dress and performed traditional etiquette to tie the knot.

The foreign newlyweds said: “Everything here is very novel. We seem to walk into a movie, enjoying ourselves.”

Since 1999, this wedding ceremony has witnessed the marriage of more than 7,000 couples from over 30 countries, becoming an important symbol of love culture in Hangzhou.
