Foreigner launches Ecological Bilingual Class in rural area of Hangzhou

On August 27, Gonyora Tanaka Edwin, an international student from Zimbabwe, launched the “Ecological Bilingual Class” for villagers in Yueliangqiao Village, Lin’an, Hangzhou, preparing for the upcoming World Congress of Biosphere Reserves.

Gonyora Tanaka Edwin is a postgraduate student of Zhejiang A&F University. He teaches Practical English to villagers, explains the cultural difference between China and foreign countries, as well as the international environmental protection concept, and shares the ecological protection measures, such as reducing the use of disposable goods, and waste sorting. The villagers express that, what he said is very useful.
